Ordering & Shipping

  • Custom Ordering
    Polish Pottery Trading Company orders are handmade and painted to the retailer’s custom pattern specifications and are not stocked in the United States. All custom orders are shipped directly from Poland with the following shipping schedule.

    • Order Deadline Estimated Shipment Date
    February 15th May 15th
    June 15th September 15th
    August 15th November 15th
    October 15th January 15th

  • Exceptions to Order Schedule
    Orders meeting the requirements of the 3, 4 or 5 star plans may be placed at any time outside of the previously stated shipment schedules. Expedited shipments may also be arranged for the 2 star plan at an additional cost to the retailer. All Shipping is FOB Kansas City.

  • Stock
    Pancake lady items in patterns 15, 18, 30 and 31 are stocked in our Manhattan, Kansas, warehouse and are available for immediate shipping. Check with a representative for availability. Any items that are out of stock will be automatically shipped when re-stocked in our warehouse.

  • Minimum Order & Opening Orders
    All orders must be a minimum of $2,500.00. All opening orders must be accompanied by a state tax exempt certificate. Orders are accepted on line at www.polishpottery-trading.com or by fax, e-mail to customerservice@polishpottery-trading.com , post, fax and phone.

  • Payment
    All sales are to be prepaid by bank transfer, check, money order, Master Card, Visa and Discover. On-line ordering and payments are also accepted using Pay Pal. All payments may be mailed to Polish Pottery Trading Company/PancakeLady.com, 4816 Lakewood Ridge, Manhattan, Kansas, 66503.There is a $25.00 returned check or returned bank transfer fee.

  • Quality and Claims
    a. The Wholesaler will sell to the Retailer only the highest levels of product quality. The quality control and classification is carried out by the internal control department of the producer and regulated by Polish Pottery Trading Company in Poland.
    b. The products are hand made and hand painted making each piece a unique and collectable item. There will be slight variations in color, shade or decorative placement. Minor glaze imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the product may also occur.
    c. In the event that quality or quantity errors occur, the Retailer may file a claim with the Wholesaler within 14 days of the receipt of the shipment.
    d. The Retailer agrees to check the packing list and each box label against the Retailer’s order upon receipt of shipment and notify the Wholesaler immediately of any discrepancies.
    e. All claims filed must be documented and attached to the packing list and if possible contain the label from the palette or box including the box number, item and pattern numbers. Further documentation, i.e. written description or photograph of the item may also be required for insurance purposes. The Wholesaler will respond to the claim within 7 days of receipt of the claim and offer a refund or replacement of the item based upon the nature of the claim.
    f. All orders returned or refused without prior authorization will be SUBJECT TO ALL FREIGHT CHARGES incurred in the shipping and back shipping of that merchandise.

  • General Conditions
    a. Polish Pottery Trading Company is not a franchise business
    b. The Retailer is in no way considered an employee of Polish Pottery Trading Company and solely responsible for insurable and advertising risks as well as taxes, licensed and legal issues.

Any information shared with Polish Pottery Trading Company™ is under certain privacy provisions. Information shared with Polish Pottery Trading Company™ will be handled by our company and not shared, sold, or reproduced. Polish Pottery Trading Company™ will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

  • We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
  • We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Polish Pottery Trading Company™ to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
  • To fulfill your requests for certain products and services;
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process.
